Inaugural Esports Nations Cup Set for Riyadh From November 2 to 29

PARIS, August 9 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) — The inaugural Esports Nations Cup will take place in Riyadh from November 2 to 29, 2026, featuring competitions across 16 games.
The Esports World Cup Foundation has launched “Road to the Esports Nations Cup,” a global pathway establishing qualification routes for national teams. More than 100,000 players from over 150 countries and territories are expected to participate in hundreds of qualifying events throughout 2026.
Nine team competitions will be held in Dota 2, Honor of Kings, League of Legends, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, PUBG: Battlegrounds, PUBG MOBILE, Rainbow Six Siege, Rocket League and VALORANT.
Counter-Strike 2 and Apex Legends will allow players to form and register teams before entering online qualifiers, while Street Fighter 6 will use an individual qualification system.
Chess, EA SPORTS FC, Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves and Trackmania will combine open qualifiers with ranking-based invitations. A maximum of two players from each country may reach the finals in each of those four games.
The qualification pathway also includes the interactive Team Builder platform, where players, coaches, managers and fans can explore team formations, build virtual teams and track how selections affect national rankings and qualification routes.
An Esports Nations Cup pavilion in Paris is presenting the tournament’s identity and qualification stages during the Esports World Cup. National team jerseys are being unveiled progressively, with the Saudi national team jersey scheduled to be presented on September 23, coinciding with Saudi Arabia’s National Day.
