Madinah / Makkah, March 13 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) — Imams of Islam’s two holiest mosques on Friday called on Muslims to increase worship and good deeds during the remaining days of the holy month of Ramadan.

At the Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah, Imam and Khateeb Sheikh Dr. Ahmed bin Ali Al-Hudhaifi urged worshippers to devote the last nights of Ramadan to prayer, recitation of the Qur’an, charity and remembrance of God, stressing the importance of sincerity in acts of worship.

Al-Hudhaifi noted that the reward of deeds is linked to faith and sincere intention, recalling the prophetic teaching that whoever observes Ramadan and performs night prayer with faith and seeking reward will have past sins forgiven.

He also urged Muslims to value the blessing of reaching Ramadan and to continue striving in acts of devotion and righteousness during its final days.

At the Grand Mosque in Makkah, Imam and Khateeb Sheikh Dr. Faisal bin Jamil Ghazzawi called on Muslims to observe piety and make the most of the remaining days of the holy month through repentance and righteous deeds.

Ghazzawi said the mercy of God is vast and urged believers not to neglect the opportunities for forgiveness and spiritual reward in the closing days of Ramadan.

He also highlighted the importance of giving Zakat al-Fitr at the end of the month, noting that it purifies the fasting person and provides support for those in need.

The imams also reminded worshippers that Ramadan passes quickly and encouraged Muslims to remain steadfast in worship and good conduct beyond the holy month.
