RIYADH, April 29 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) - Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman chaired a Gulf Cooperation Council consultative summit in Jeddah on Tuesday, Saudi state media said, as Gulf leaders met to discuss regional and international developments and coordinate efforts in response.


Saudi state media said the summit addressed issues linked to regional and international developments and coordination among member states.


The meeting was attended by Qatar’s emir, Kuwait’s crown prince, Bahrain’s king and the United Arab Emirates’ foreign minister, according to the report.


The summit came as Gulf states assess the security and economic impact of recent regional tensions and continue consultations on a collective response.
