Makkah, December 12, 2025 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – The Grand Mosque in Makkah, covering more than 1.8 million square meters and accommodating over 2.5 million worshippers, offers a range of integrated services aimed at facilitating the movement of pilgrims and supporting the safe performance of rituals.

The services are overseen by the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah and the General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques. Measures include clearly designated pathways, digital screens displaying real-time crowd density, and accessible infrastructure such as gates, ramps, escalators and elevators.

Mobility services are available for pilgrims performing Tawaf and Sa’i, including wheelchairs and electric carts, which can be reserved through the authority’s official platform. Additional facilities include free shaving services at Sa’i exits, restrooms, luggage storage areas, and nearby food and retail outlets.

The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah also provides a 24-hour hotline (1966) for inquiries, along with educational guides available in 16 languages through its official website.

Authorities said the services are part of ongoing efforts to ensure an organized and accessible experience for pilgrims and visitors throughout their time at the Grand Mosque.
