MAKKAH, August 14 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) — Grand Mosque Imam Sheikh Saleh bin Humaid warned against consulting soothsayers and astrologers during his Friday sermon in Makkah.
Sheikh Saleh said a true dream, known as ru’ya, may bring glad tidings but cannot serve as the foundation for a religious ruling.
He divided dreams into three categories: true visions from Allah, troubling dreams from Satan that should be kept private, and reflections arising from a person’s daily experiences and concerns.
The imam stressed that interpreting dreams requires sound religious knowledge and should not be undertaken carelessly or without proper understanding.
