Grand Mosque Authority Launches ‘Digital Mutawwif’ Platform for Umrah Pilgrims

MAKKAH, December 16 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – The General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque is offering the “Digital Mutawwif,” a platform designed to provide step-by-step guidance for Umrah rituals and enhance pilgrims’ experience at the Grand Mosque.

The platform delivers a range of smart services, including interactive guidance to help visitors navigate the mosque’s layout, along with detailed ritual instructions, audio and video supplications, and electronic counters for Tawaf and Sa'i to allow pilgrims to track their progress.

The Digital Mutawwif supports seven languages, reflecting the global diversity of Umrah pilgrims. The authority has encouraged visitors to access the service through its official platforms to benefit from the tools aimed at facilitating ritual performance and improving the overall experience within the two holy mosques.
