Grand Mosque authority deploys female guidance staff in Mataf area

Makkah, Jan 28, 2026 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – The Presidency of Religious Affairs at the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque, through the Women’s Affairs Agency, is implementing an integrated operational framework in the Mataf area.

The framework provides for the organised field deployment of female guidance staff at high-density locations, including Hijr Ismail and areas surrounding the Tawaf route, to ensure rapid access for female worshippers.

The deployment focuses on providing Sharia guidance and religious instruction at sites identified as having the greatest impact on the quality of the worship experience.

The framework forms part of an approved religious operational plan aimed at strengthening women’s religious services and conveying the message of the Two Holy Mosques through an approach combining Sharia authenticity with operational professionalism.
