Global City Dammam Targets More Than 5.2 Million Visitors in Expanded Second Season

DAMMAM, July 13, Saudi Arabia Breaking News — Global City Dammam is targeting more than 5.2 million visitors during its second season as the entertainment project prepares for its largest expansion to date.
The Eastern Region Municipality reviewed plans for the new season, which will feature expanded international markets, redesigned pavilion facades and an interactive fountain.
The project attracted more than three million visitors during its inaugural season. Daily attendance during the second season is expected to range between 22,000 and 26,000 visitors.
Global City Dammam will feature 23 international pavilions, with Iraq and Oman participating for the first time, alongside five open global markets.
New attractions will include the Asian Village, Kabayan Night Market, a dinosaur city and the Future District, which will offer artificial intelligence and robotics experiences.
A dedicated investment zone will also be established to attract investors, entrepreneurs and new brands.
The expanded dining offering will include 13 restaurants, 60 food and beverage kiosks and six cafés, supported by integrated entertainment facilities and dedicated parking.
Eastern Region Mayor Fahad Al-Jubeir said the project represents a successful municipality-private sector partnership and supports the region’s development as a destination for tourism, entertainment and investment.
