GCC interior ministers hold emergency meeting in Riyadh


RIYADH, May 13 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – Interior ministers from Gulf Cooperation Council countries held an emergency ministerial meeting in Riyadh on Wednesday, the Saudi Press Agency reported.


The meeting was chaired by Bahrain.


Saudi Interior Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif led the Saudi delegation and conveyed the greetings of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman to the ministers.


The meeting reviewed several security issues, including rapid developments in the region and ways to strengthen joint security coordination and cooperation among GCC member states.


GCC Secretary-General Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi and senior officials from interior ministries across the GCC also attended the meeting.
