France and Saudi Arabia Agree on €6 Billion Dragon Ball Z Theme Park

PARIS, August 24 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) — France and Saudi Arabia have agreed to build a €6 billion Dragon Ball Z-themed amusement park near Paris, the Elysee Palace said on Monday.

The development, valued at approximately $7 billion, will be located near Cergy-Pontoise, northwest of the French capital.

Saudi entertainment and investment group Qiddiya will finance the project. The Elysee estimates that the development could create around 22,000 jobs.

The project would be among Europe’s largest theme park developments and is expected to include three separate theme parks. French officials said several key details remain unsettled.

No opening date has been established. Construction is expected to take several years, but no starting date was announced.

The idea emerged after French President Emmanuel Macron and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman discovered a shared interest in Dragon Ball Z during Macron’s visit to Saudi Arabia in 2025, according to advisers to the French president.

French officials presented the project as evidence of the country’s ability to attract foreign investment. The development will also expand Qiddiya’s international presence in the leisure industry.
