Riyadh, October 9, 2025 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – Four falcons—three Mongolian and one local—were sold on Wednesday for a combined SAR652,000 at the 2025 International Saudi Falcons & Hunting Exhibition in Malham, amid strong bidding and lively audience participation, organizers said.
The auction opened with Mongolian birds: a hur qarnas (adult) sold for SAR200,000, followed by a hur farkh (juvenile) at SAR90,000. A third Mongolian hur qarnas, opened at SAR70,000, ultimately fetched SAR201,000.
The session concluded with the local auction, where a shaheen farkh (juvenile) sold for SAR161,000.
This year’s exhibition features, for the first time, a dedicated zone for Mongolian falcons, reflecting their distinguished status among falconers in the Kingdom and region for quality, size, and endurance.
