Founding Day celebrations conclude in Riyadh’s Qasr Al-Hukm District

Riyadh, February 16, 2026 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – The Founding Day celebration program concluded at Al-Adl Square in Riyadh’s Qasr Al-Hukm District under the patronage of Riyadh Region Governor Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz.
Riyadh Region Deputy Governor Prince Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz attended the closing, held after two days of heritage and cultural activities.
The Royal Commission for Riyadh City organized the program in collaboration with Riyadh Principality.
During the event, the governor praised leadership support for the celebrations, describing the occasion as a renewal of the pledge and a commemoration of the founding of the Saudi state, and an expression of loyalty to its imams and kings.
He said honoring the occasion is a duty that helps children draw inspiration from the sacrifices and deeds of previous generations, adding that the country’s development and prosperity reflect that legacy.
The program focused on strengthening national identity, deepening awareness of the Saudi state’s history, and connecting society with the country’s past through cultural and interactive activities.
