ABU DHABI, August 23 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) — The Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix will bring the 2026 Formula 1 World Championship season to a close at Yas Marina Circuit from December 3 to 6.
The final round will extend beyond competition on the track, with concerts, entertainment events and hospitality experiences scheduled across Yas Island during the four-day programme.
Saood Abdulaziz Al Hosani, Under-Secretary of the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi, said the Grand Prix helps attract international visitors while supporting the emirate’s tourism, hospitality and events sectors.
Abu Dhabi has hosted Formula 1 since 2009. Al Hosani said the long-running partnership demonstrates the emirate’s capacity to stage major international sporting events and strengthens its position as a global destination.
Stefano Domenicali, President and CEO of Formula One, said preparations for the season finale remain on schedule and reaffirmed the championship’s commitment to its announced calendar. He said the race will be accompanied by an extensive programme of events and experiences.
Saif Rashid Al Noaimi, CEO of Ethara, said organizers are working with Formula 1 and partners across Abu Dhabi to prepare the event for spectators, teams and drivers.
The combination of the championship finale at Yas Marina Circuit and the wider programme across Yas Island will connect Formula 1 with Abu Dhabi’s tourism, entertainment and hospitality offerings.
