RIYADH, November 14, 2025 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – A falcon was sold for SAR351,000 at the 25th session of the Saudi Falcons Club Auction, becoming the third most expensive falcon sold so far in this year’s event.

The auction, held at the club’s headquarters in Malham, north of Riyadh, serves as the Kingdom’s main marketplace for locally trapped falcons. It coincides with the annual trapping season, which runs until November 30.

According to the Saudi Falcons Club, the auction plays a key role in preserving cultural heritage, passing falconry traditions to younger generations, and supporting hundreds of trappers who rely on the event as a significant economic opportunity.
