RIYADH, November 11, 2025 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – The Events Investment Fund (EIF), launched by His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, under the National Development Fund (NDF), announced today the development of its first landmark project — the Riyadh Shooting Range and Entertainment Complex — with an investment exceeding SAR491 million ($131 million).

The announcement was made during the inaugural TOURISE Summit in Riyadh, the world’s premier platform for shaping the future of global tourism, according to a press release issued by EIF.

Located within Qiddiya City, just 40 minutes from Riyadh, the complex will span 457,000 square meters and feature a world-class Shooting Sport venue that meets International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF) standards. It will be capable of hosting major national and international events such as the Asian Games, World Cups, Grand Prix, and Olympic competitions, and will include specialized training facilities for both professional and amateur shooters in pistol, rifle, and shotgun disciplines.

The Entertainment Complex will also offer a wide array of activities for families and corporate groups — including paintball, airsoft, laser tag, and virtual shooting — further enriching Riyadh’s growing leisure and entertainment landscape.

EIF expects the project to create more than 2,300 jobs and attract over 400,000 visitors annually, supporting the Kingdom’s broader efforts to diversify its economy and strengthen its tourism and events sectors.

EIF CEO Wahdan Suliman Alkadi stated:

“The Riyadh Shooting Range marks a major milestone in the journey of the Events Investment Fund and is our first landmark project, built to Qiddiya City’s international standards. This development reflects our commitment to creating world-class venues that enhance the Kingdom’s events infrastructure, stimulate investment opportunities, and contribute to achieving the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.”

Muhannad AlDawood, Chief Strategy Officer of Qiddiya Investment Company, added:

“We’re delighted to welcome the Events Investment Fund and the Riyadh Shooting Range to Qiddiya City. As we embark on our journey to host a range of world-class sporting facilities, accessible to members of the public, enthusiasts, and high-performing athletes alike, this facility represents an exciting addition to the world’s first city built for play.”

The Riyadh Shooting Range and Entertainment Complex represents a key step in EIF’s mission to build sustainable event infrastructure across the Kingdom. The fund also announced plans to unveil additional projects in other Saudi cities early next year, reinforcing its commitment to enhancing quality of life, driving economic diversification, and positioning Saudi Arabia as a leading global destination for leisure, sport, and entertainment.
