Etihad to Launch Abu Dhabi–Red Sea Flights on October 4
RIYADH, September 10 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) - Etihad Airways will begin scheduled flights between Abu Dhabi and Red Sea International Airport on October 4, with a second weekly service added later that month, Red Sea Global announced.
The inaugural flight will depart from Zayed International Airport on Sunday, October 4. Flights will initially operate every Sunday, increasing to Thursdays and Sundays from October 25.
Red Sea International Airport currently serves Riyadh, Jeddah, Dubai, Doha and Milan, with approximately 20 domestic and international flights each week.

The Red Sea destination has 11 resorts in operation, including Six Senses Southern Dunes, Nujuma, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve, and Four Seasons Resort and Residences Red Sea. Another six resorts are scheduled to open in the coming months.
The General Authority of Civil Aviation, the Air Connectivity Program and airport operator daa International supported the launch of the flights.
