Abu Dhabi, March 6, 2026 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – Etihad Airways expects to resume a limited commercial flight schedule on Friday, after widespread cancellations across the Middle East left passengers stranded as fighting escalated in the region.
Customers with previous bookings will be accommodated on flights from Abu Dhabi to a number of key destinations, the airline said. Destinations listed include Cairo, London, Paris, New York, Rome, Moscow, Madrid and Seoul, along with other major cities.
Etihad advised passengers not to travel to the airport unless they have been contacted directly by the airline or hold a confirmed booking on one of the new flights.
All other scheduled commercial services to and from Abu Dhabi remain suspended, it said.
The airline said it coordinated the decision with authorities and will operate flights only when safety criteria are met.
