El-Sisi, Jordan’s King Abdullah stress full Gaza deal implementation, reject Palestinian displacement

Cairo, February 1, 2026 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and King Abdullah II bin Al Hussein stressed the need for full implementation of the agreement to halt the war in the Gaza Strip, implementation of the peace plan proposed by Donald Trump, and unrestricted humanitarian access to the territory, alongside the swift launch of early recovery and reconstruction efforts.

During a meeting in Cairo, the two leaders reaffirmed Egypt and Jordan’s position rejecting any attempts to displace the Palestinian people outside their land.

They also discussed developments in the West Bank, rejecting violations and arbitrary practices against Palestinians.

They said establishing an independent Palestinian state along the lines of June 4, 1967, with East Jerusalem as its capital, is the only path to lasting peace and stability in the Middle East.
