Eight Nations Condemn Israeli Ministers’ Statements on Displacing Palestinians from Gaza

RIYADH, September 6 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) — The foreign ministers of Saudi Arabia, Jordan, the UAE, Indonesia, Pakistan, Türkiye, Qatar and Egypt condemned statements by Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir and Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz regarding the displacement of Palestinians from the Gaza Strip.
In a joint statement, the ministers said the remarks included proposals for plans and mechanisms aimed at forcibly removing Palestinians from their land. They said such proposals violated international law and threatened the rights of the Palestinian people.
The ministers rejected any attempt to displace Palestinians within or outside the Occupied Palestinian Territory. They also warned against turning calls for displacement into official policy or concrete action.
They said such measures would undermine international peace efforts, including President Donald Trump’s Comprehensive Plan to End the Gaza Conflict, which rejects forced displacement.
The ministers said the Gaza Strip was an integral part of the Occupied Palestinian Territory and called for the unity of Gaza and the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, to be maintained.
They reaffirmed support for a two-state solution based on the lines of June 4, 1967, with East Jerusalem as the capital of an independent Palestinian state.
The ministers called on the international community, particularly the United Nations Security Council, to oppose attempts to impose a new demographic or geographic reality in the Occupied Palestinian Territory.
