Eastern Region Installs More Than 15,000 Flags for Saudi National Day
DAMMAM, September 21, 2026 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) — Saudi Arabia’s Eastern Region has installed more than 15,000 national flags and scheduled over 70 events for Saudi National Day, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
The events will be held at about 30 locations across cities and governorates in the region.
Municipal preparations include more than 50 banners placed on pedestrian bridges and buildings, along with 400 lighting fixtures installed on buildings and beneath bridges.
The Eastern Region Municipality is also installing 250 advertising signs and 750 signs on streetlight poles.
Another 200 decorative structures, 200 streetlight-pole decorations and 90 screens form part of the regional program.
The municipality is coordinating the preparations under directives issued by the Ministry of Municipalities and Housing.
