DUBAI, UAE, June 23 — Dubai WoodShow 2026 recorded more than AED250 million in deals on its opening day, reinforcing its position as a major regional platform for the timber, woodworking machinery and manufacturing technology industries.

The exhibition, held at the Dubai World Trade Centre from June 22 to 24, welcomed 5,280 visitors and participants from 80 countries at its opening.

This year’s edition brings together more than 400 exhibitors, over 600 international brands, five country pavilions and participation from more than 45 countries, connecting manufacturers, suppliers, buyers and industry decision makers across the timber value chain.

Organizers said commercial activity remained strong on the second day, with business meetings, sourcing discussions and direct negotiations continuing among participating companies.

An on-site exhibitor survey by the organizer showed that deals concluded on the opening day surpassed AED250 million.

The event also hosted Saud Al Sheikh, Chief Executive Officer of Saudi WoodShow, which is scheduled to take place at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Centre from September 1 to 3. His participation highlighted growing regional interest in timber-related industries and the expanding role of the UAE and Saudi Arabia in attracting global industry players.

Exhibitors cited strong organization, high-quality visitor engagement and rising market demand for advanced technologies and intelligent solutions. They said the sector is seeing growing interest in smart manufacturing systems, automation, advanced machinery, innovative materials and digital platforms designed to improve efficiency and competitiveness.

The conference program addressed advanced wood processing, sustainable timber sourcing and manufacturing, major development projects, artificial intelligence, CNC systems, 3D printing and ESG priorities.

Dubai WoodShow is being held alongside the International Furniture Accessories, Components & Semi Finished Products Exhibition, which focuses on materials and solutions for furniture production and interior fit-out.
