Dubai says drone debris caused limited fire at Burj Al Arab, no injuries

Riyadh, March 1, 2026 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – Dubai’s media office said air defences intercepted a drone in Dubai and debris caused a limited fire on the exterior façade of the Burj Al Arab on Sunday.

Civil defence teams brought the blaze under control and no injuries were reported, the statement said.

Videos circulating on social media earlier showed debris falling near the Burj Al Arab and a fire visible in the area.
