Drone targets Kuwait International Airport, wounds several employees

Riyadh, February 28, 2026 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – Kuwait’s civil aviation authority said a drone targeted Kuwait International Airport, wounding several employees and causing material damage.

Abdullah Al-Rajhi, a spokesman for the civil aviation authority, said the damage is being assessed and repair work is ongoing.

He said emergency measures are being taken and the situation is under control.
