Drone attacks hit fuel tanks at Kuwait airport and government building

RIYADH, March 8, 2026 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) — Firefighters were still battling fires Sunday morning at fuel tanks at Kuwait International Airport and at a government high-rise building in Kuwait City, according to the state-run Kuwait News Agency.
Kuwait’s Ministry of Defense said the airport’s fuel tanks were directly hit in a drone attack.
Authorities also said a drone struck the headquarters of the Public Institution for Social Security in the capital.
No immediate information on casualties was released.
