Diriyah Gate Authority to Showcase At-Turaif Heritage at Saudi Falcons and Hunting Exhibition

RIYADH, Oct 1 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) — The Diriyah Gate Development Authority will participate in the International Saudi Falcons and Hunting Exhibition 2026 in Riyadh from October 1 to 10, highlighting At-Turaif Historical District and Diriyah’s living heritage, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
DGDA will participate as the exhibition’s “Legacy Partner” under the theme “Lasting Roots,” while this year’s event is being held under the theme “A Destination for All.”
The authority will spotlight At-Turaif Historical District, which was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2010, as part of the exhibition’s annual initiative to introduce Saudi Arabia’s World Heritage Sites.
At-Turaif served as the seat of government of the First Saudi State and remains central to Diriyah’s historical and cultural identity.
The DGDA pavilion will provide visitors with an immersive introduction to Diriyah and At-Turaif through curated visual content highlighting the district’s architecture, culture and history.
The experience will also explore the history of the Imams of the First Saudi State and the values and legacy associated with their leadership.
The visitor journey will conclude with experiences inspired by Saudi hospitality and Arabic calligraphy.
The International Saudi Falcons and Hunting Exhibition brings together activities linked to falconry, hunting, equestrianism and outdoor pursuits, while also supporting heritage awareness, investment opportunities and partnerships across related sectors.
