Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman Performs Funeral Prayer for Late Grand Mufti Sheikh Abdulaziz Al Al-Sheikh

Riyadh, September 23, 2025 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, performed the funeral prayer today for Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Al-Sheikh, the late Grand Mufti of Saudi Arabia, at Imam Turki bin Abdullah Mosque in Riyadh.

Sheikh Abdulaziz Al Al-Sheikh served as Chairman of the Council of Senior Scholars, President of the General Presidency of Scholarly Research and Ifta, and Chairman of the Supreme Council of the Muslim World League.

On arrival at the mosque, the Crown Prince was received by Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Riyadh Region.

A number of princes, scholars, and ministers joined the prayer. Following the service, the Crown Prince and the late Sheikh’s sons received condolences from dignitaries.
