Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman Hosts Annual Hajj Reception at Mina Palace

MINA, Saudi Arabia, May 29 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) — Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman hosted the annual Hajj reception at Mina Palace on behalf of King Salman, receiving heads of state, senior Islamic figures, government guests and pilgrim affairs officials who performed Hajj this year, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
The reception was attended by officials from several Muslim countries, including Albania, Chad, Türkiye, Egypt, Maldives, Mauritania and Guinea.
Prince Mohammed congratulated Muslims on Eid Al-Adha and reaffirmed Saudi Arabia’s role in serving the Two Holy Mosques and the holy sites.
“Allah has honored the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with caring for the Two Holy Mosques and the holy sites and serving their visitors,” the Crown Prince said.
Saudi Hajj and Umrah Minister Tawfig Al-Rabiah said this year’s Hajj preparations involved more than 60 government entities, with contracts covering more than one million pilgrims completed more than six months before the season began.
The pilgrimage was supported by more than 173,000 flights from 366 destinations, more than 5,300 Haramain High Speed Railway trips, more than 2,000 Al Mashaaer Al Mugaddassah Metro trips and more than 24,000 buses.
Authorities supplied more than eight million cubic metres of water to Makkah and the holy sites, while health capacity exceeded 20,000 beds and more than 52,000 healthcare personnel supported the season.
The reception concluded with a luncheon attended by the Crown Prince and guests.
