Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman Holds Talks With Pakistan Prime Minister in Riyadh

Riyadh, September 17, 2025 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today received Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan at Al-Yamamah Palace in Riyadh, according to a statement carried by the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
The Crown Prince welcomed the Pakistani prime minister with an official reception ceremony and an inspection of the Guard of Honor.
Following the reception, the two leaders held an official session of talks, reviewing the close relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Pakistan and discussing ways to enhance the strategic partnership across various fields. They also exchanged views on regional and international developments and efforts aimed at achieving security and stability.
Prince Mohammed bin Salman later hosted an official luncheon in honor of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
At the conclusion of the visit, the Crown Prince and the Pakistani prime minister signed a Strategic Mutual Defense Agreement between the Kingdom and Pakistan. The Pakistani leader then departed the Royal Court, where the Crown Prince bade him farewell.
