PARIS, August 25 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) — BNP Paribas has received investment registration for a regional headquarters in Saudi Arabia, providing the financial group with a base for expanding its operations across the Kingdom and regional markets.

The registration does not establish that the headquarters is already open or operational. No opening date, location within the Kingdom or investment value was announced.

Saudi Minister of Investment Fahad Al-Saif met BNP Paribas Group Chairman Jean Lemierre in Paris to discuss financial-sector investment and opportunities for deeper cooperation.

Their meeting also covered support for the group’s expansion in Saudi Arabia and the wider region.

BNP Paribas is the latest global financial institution to receive regional headquarters registration under the Regional Headquarters Program, launched in 2021.

More than 750 companies have joined the program, exceeding its target of 500 companies by 2030.

The SPA report described the expanding participation of international companies as an indication of confidence in Saudi Arabia’s economy and investment environment and as support for the Kingdom’s position as a regional business hub.
