Belgium, Greece and Netherlands express support for Saudi Arabia in calls with Crown Prince

JEDDAH, March 24 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – Belgium’s King Philippe, Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis and Dutch Prime Minister Rob Jetten held separate phone calls with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman on Tuesday, expressing support for the kingdom as regional tensions escalated.
The calls focused on developments in the region and their impact on regional and international security, according to the Saudi Press Agency.
In his call with the crown prince, King Philippe expressed Belgium’s solidarity, government and people, with Saudi Arabia and backed the steps the kingdom is taking to protect its sovereignty and security.
Mitsotakis discussed the military escalation in the region and its repercussions for regional and international security and stability, while renewing Greece’s support for Saudi Arabia and its measures to safeguard its sovereignty and security against repeated Iranian attacks.
Jetten also expressed the Netherlands’ solidarity with the kingdom and condemned the repeated Iranian attacks, saying they threatened security and stability, SPA reported.
The three calls came as diplomatic contacts intensified over the regional escalation and its wider international implications.
