Barcelona to face Athletic Bilbao in Spanish Super Cup semifinal in Jeddah

Jeddah, January 7, 2026 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – Barcelona will play Athletic Bilbao on Wednesday in the semifinals of the 2026 Spanish Super Cup at King Abdullah Sports City in Jeddah, according to a statement.
The tournament is organised and supervised by Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Sport, the statement said.
Barcelona, the most successful club in Supercopa history with 15 titles, will face Athletic Bilbao, which has three titles, it added.
Both teams trained on Tuesday at the secondary pitches at King Abdullah Sports City, focusing on technical and tactical preparations ahead of the semifinal.
