ATM 2026 Draws Travel Buyers From More Than 115 Countries to Dubai

DUBAI, September 18, 2026 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) — Arabian Travel Market 2026 brought travel buyers from more than 115 countries to Dubai for four days of tourism industry meetings and commercial announcements, the Emirates News Agency reported.
The 33rd edition at Dubai World Trade Centre featured more than 55 destination stands. Tourism authorities, airlines, transport operators, hotel groups, technology companies, executives and procurement professionals took part.
The event included the launch of Visit UAE, the country’s first unified national tourism brand. Organizers also introduced UAE Grand Tour, an online platform designed to help visitors travel across all seven emirates on a continuous route.
Emirates signed 11 memoranda of understanding covering cooperation with seven regional and international destinations. The agreements address technology, marketing, travel products, packages and passenger experience.
Hotel operator Rotana announced a pipeline of 40 properties with more than 8,300 rooms. The portfolio includes 10 planned projects in Saudi Arabia.
Etihad Airways and Etihad Rail signed a memorandum to explore an integrated air-and-rail travel experience connecting visitors and residents with destinations across the UAE.
Mastercard and Trip.com presented artificial intelligence-based booking services through TripGenie, developed with Network International.
A consortium comprising Air Arabia Group, Nesma Group and KUN Holding Company announced that a new airline would begin operating in Saudi Arabia on September 20.
The carrier is scheduled to connect Dammam with Riyadh, Madinah and Jeddah.
ATM 2026 also hosted the first co-located ATM Travel Tech show. Danielle Curtis, Regional Portfolio Director for the UAE at RX Global, said the space allocated to travel technology was twice the size provided previously.
Issam Kazim, CEO of the Dubai Corporation for Tourism and Commerce Marketing, said the event allowed tourism companies and public bodies to develop partnerships and examine areas for cooperation.
The next Arabian Travel Market is scheduled to take place at Dubai World Trade Centre from May 3 to 6, 2027.
