Aseer Launches Summer Season 2026 With 122 Events and 100 Bookable Experiences

RIYADH, June 14 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) - The season aims to attract more than three million visitors while highlighting Aseer’s mountain landscapes, heritage villages and growing position as a year-round tourism destination.
Aseer Governor and Chairman of the Aseer Development Authority, Prince Turki bin Talal bin Abdulaziz, has launched Aseer Summer Season 2026, supported by the Ministry of Tourism, the Saudi Tourism Authority and the National Events Center.
The season forms part of ongoing efforts to develop Aseer’s tourism sector and strengthen the region’s position as a year-round global destination in line with Saudi Vision 2030.
Aseer Summer Season 2026 aims to attract more than three million visitors through 122 events and 100 bookable experiences across the region.
The programme is expected to contribute to the creation of 3,000 seasonal jobs, while targeting a hotel occupancy rate of 55% and average visitor spending of SAR1,287.
The season highlights Aseer’s natural and cultural assets, combining mountain landscapes, heritage villages and outdoor experiences designed to showcase the region’s distinctive tourism identity.
The programme spans multiple governorates and is supported by more than 14,000 hospitality units, reinforcing Aseer’s position as a sustainable tourism hub.
