ABHA, August 13 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) — Aseer Governor and Aseer Development Authority Chairman Prince Turki bin Talal bin Abdulaziz met Minister of Investment Fahad bin Abduljalil Al-Saif on Wednesday to review the region’s development strategy, investment environment and projects.
The meeting formed part of Al-Saif’s official tour of Aseer. The two officials discussed the regional plan and coordination between the ministry, investors and Saudi and international companies seeking to pursue opportunities across the region.
Prince Turki emphasized the role of private-sector partnerships in strengthening Aseer’s competitiveness and attracting domestic and international investment. He also affirmed that the governorate and government entities would support the ministry’s work, address challenges facing investors and help convert available opportunities into projects with sustainable economic and development benefits.
Al-Saif said Aseer’s development projects and infrastructure improvements were increasing its appeal to investors. He identified tourism, hospitality, industry and related activities among the priority sectors offering opportunities for private companies.
During the tour, the minister met members of the Abha and Bisha chambers and reviewed projects and investment opportunities across several sectors. He also held discussions with investors and business leaders about private-sector participation, the investment environment and conditions supporting sustainable project growth.
Al-Saif visited several development projects to examine their progress and their role in supporting economic and tourism activity and generating new investment opportunities in Aseer.
