Aroya Cruises to launch first Gulf season on February 21

JEDDAH, February 5, 2026 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – Aroya Cruises, the first Arab cruise line and a unit of Cruise Saudi wholly owned by the Public Investment Fund, announced the launch of its first Gulf season in February.

Operations in the Gulf are scheduled to run from February 21, 2026, to May 8, 2026.

The company positioned the season around its “Remarkably Arabian” concept, combining Saudi cultural identity with international cruise standards through food offerings and entertainment programmes inspired by Arab culture alongside international shows.

Lars Clasen, chief executive of Cruise Saudi and acting president of Aroya Cruises, described the Gulf launch as a key phase in developing an integrated regional cruise ecosystem and reinforcing Aroya’s role in regional tourism through experiences built around Arab identity.
