Aramco Digital to Launch National Industrial Communications Network in Saudi Arabia

Riyadh, Jan 8 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – Aramco Digital, a subsidiary of Saudi Aramco, will launch a nationwide industrial communications network operating on the 450 MHz band to provide secure and reliable connectivity for critical sectors, the company said.
The network is designed to support industries that require continuous operations and resilient communication links for facilities and assets. As part of the rollout, Aramco Digital will introduce a suite of industrial digital solutions based on the 450 MHz band, including customized connectivity services and a new line of smart radios developed for demanding operating environments.
The upcoming radios feature industrial-grade construction and integrated technologies such as artificial intelligence, enhanced sensing, improved energy efficiency and on-device real-time data processing. Aramco Digital said these capabilities are intended to support accuracy, reliability and operational continuity.
The network will enable a wide range of Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) applications, including condition and performance monitoring, equipment and fleet tracking, environmental and air quality sensing, smart surveillance, smart metering, infrastructure control and industrial mobility solutions.
According to the company, the initiative is positioned to support the next phase of Saudi Arabia’s industrial development and contribute to the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 by providing a reliable national platform for automation and digital services.
