LJUBLJANA, February 6, 2026 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, Jordanian Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi, Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty, Bahraini Foreign Minister Abdullatif Alzayani, and Qatari Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Sultan Al Muraikhi held talks in Ljubljana with Slovenian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Tanja Fajon.

The ministers reviewed measures to support regional and international security and stability, with discussions focused on the Gaza Strip, adherence to the ceasefire agreement, and full implementation of its provisions.

The talks also addressed delivery of sufficient and sustainable humanitarian aid into Gaza, support for the peace plan launched by U.S. President Donald Trump, and progress toward a clear political horizon leading to an independent Palestinian state on the 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital, on the basis of the two-state solution.

Participants also discussed the situation in the occupied West Bank, including calls to halt unilateral Israeli measures and violations against Islamic and Christian holy sites in occupied Jerusalem, alongside broader regional developments, de-escalation through negotiation and dialogue, and efforts to resolve the Russia-Ukraine crisis.
