ALULA, February 4, 2026 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – AlUla Governorate has continued to develop its cultural and arts offering, building on archaeological sites, open-air heritage areas and a year-round programme of exhibitions and experiences spanning visual arts, design, crafts, photography and cinema.

AlUla’s cultural landscape includes specialised exhibitions, open-air museums and sites featuring rock inscriptions and historical writings that document successive civilisations, alongside initiatives focused on artistic commissions, research, publications and artist residency programmes.

The governorate’s open-air heritage areas include multiple locations where inscriptions and ancient writings remain visible, providing an on-site educational experience linking landscape, history and human heritage.

AlUla’s cultural programming has also been supported by international partnerships with cultural and arts institutions, aimed at knowledge exchange, programme development and attracting artists and researchers.
