ABU DHABI, July 10 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) - Aldar unveiled Yas Point, a new AED6 billion waterfront destination on the northern side of Yas Island.

The development is planned as a fully integrated beachfront community connected to Yas Island’s wider entertainment, lifestyle and tourism offering.

Yas Point will include a five-star resort hotel, branded residences, an international school, retail, dining and leisure spaces.

Once complete, the destination is expected to become home to 5,000 residents.

The masterplan spans around 600,000 square metres and will feature 1,600 residences.

Aldar said the project is designed around a walkable masterplan, with park connections, waterfront pathways, public spaces and year-round experiences.

Jonathan Emery, Chief Executive Officer of Aldar Development, said Yas Point would introduce “a vibrant waterfront destination” and reinforce Abu Dhabi’s position as a leading destination for lifestyle, tourism and investment.
