RIYADH, Jan 22, 2026 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – The General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque said total visitors to the Two Holy Mosques reached 78,843,425 during Rajab 1447 AH, citing strong attendance and the performance of its operational and organisational plans.
The authority said the figure covers all worship and visitation sites. It reported 14,875,003 Umrah performers completed rituals, while 34,954,367 worshippers prayed at the Grand Mosque in Makkah and 25,074,929 prayed at the Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah.

The authority said the statistics were measured using a total entry throughput indicator, and linked the results to ongoing efforts to develop services, raise operational efficiency, and support safety and comfort for visitors in line with Saudi Vision 2030 goals.
