Zayed International Airport says one killed, seven injured in drone strike

Riyadh, March 1, 2026 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – Zayed International Airport in Abu Dhabi said on Sunday that one person was killed and seven others were injured in a drone strike, the second attack on an Emirati commercial airport in the past 24 hours.
The airport, a hub for Etihad Airways and a transit point between Europe, the Middle East and Asia, said the person killed was a national of an unnamed Asian country.
