World Economic Forum reschedules Jeddah meeting amid regional developments

RIYADH, March 24 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – The World Economic Forum has rescheduled its international meeting on cooperation and growth, which had been due to take place in Jeddah on April 22 and 23, following coordination with Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Economy and Planning, SPA reported on Tuesday.
The ministry indicated that the move came at the forum’s request in light of current regional developments and to ensure the meeting is held at a time that delivers the intended impact.
It added that Saudi Arabia remained fully prepared to host the gathering in Jeddah and that a new date would be announced later.
The World Economic Forum described the meeting as a key platform for advancing constructive global dialogue and indicated that the rescheduling was intended to maximise its benefit and global impact.
Saudi Arabia hosted a special World Economic Forum meeting in Riyadh in 2024.
