ABU DHABI, March 9 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – The United Arab Emirates announced on Monday the deaths of two noncombat members of its armed forces after a helicopter crashed due to a technical malfunction.
The defence ministry said the crash occurred during operations as authorities continue to respond to missile and drone threats targeting the country amid a regional conflict that began more than a week ago.
The ministry did not provide additional details on the type of helicopter involved or the location of the incident.
The announcement came as the United Arab Emirates said it had been working to intercept hundreds of missiles and drones launched toward the country since the start of the conflict.
