UAE says shrapnel from drone interception in Abu Dhabi wounds six

Abu Dhabi, March 5, 2026 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – Shrapnel fell to the ground after a drone interception in Abu Dhabi, wounding six people, authorities said on Thursday.

The Abu Dhabi Media Office said the injuries occurred in the capital’s ICAD II industrial area, near Al Dhafra Air Base, which hosts American forces.

Those wounded were from Nepal and Pakistan, it said.
