UAE President and Saudi Defence Minister Discuss Cooperation and Regional Security
ABU DHABI, October 18 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) - UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan received Saudi Minister of Defence Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud on Sunday for talks on bilateral cooperation and regional security.
The two sides discussed ways to strengthen cooperation in their mutual interests and support development and prosperity in both countries.
They also exchanged views on regional developments and efforts to strengthen security and stability and achieve lasting peace.
Prince Khalid conveyed greetings from Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. Sheikh Mohamed asked him to convey his greetings to both leaders.
The meeting was attended by Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Presidential Court; Sheikh Tahnoon bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Ruler of Abu Dhabi and National Security Adviser; Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Special Affairs; and Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, Advisor to the UAE President, alongside ministers and officials.
