Riyadh, Jan 8 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – Saudi Arabia’s General Directorate of Passports called on citizens planning to travel abroad to ensure the safety of their passports and comply with validity requirements, according to an official statement.

The authority said passports must be valid for at least three months for travel to Arab countries and six months for travel elsewhere. Digital IDs on Absher or Tawakkalna and the family register do not permit international travel.

Citizens were also reminded to activate renewed passports electronically at passport offices or designated outlets at international ports, with no prior appointment required.
