Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan, Egypt’s Badr Abdelatty Discuss Regional Developments

RIYADH, Oct 6 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) — Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah and Egyptian Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and Egyptians Abroad Badr Abdelatty discussed bilateral relations and current regional developments during a phone call on Tuesday.
The two ministers reviewed the fraternal and strategic relations between Saudi Arabia and Egypt and ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation across various fields.
Abdelatty renewed Egypt’s condemnation of all attacks targeting Saudi Arabia and affirmed Cairo’s full support for the Kingdom’s security and stability.
The ministers also discussed regional developments and stressed the importance of safeguarding maritime corridors and freedom of navigation, particularly in the Red Sea and Bab Al-Mandab Strait.
They also reaffirmed the two countries’ longstanding position in support of Sudan’s unity and sovereignty and the preservation of its national institutions.
The two sides emphasized the importance of maintaining Sudan’s security and stability in a way that meets the aspirations of the Sudanese people.
