Saudi Crown Prince Receives Call From Egypt’s President on Regional Escalation

JEDDAH, March 16, 2026 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince and Prime Minister Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud received a phone call on Monday from Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, the Saudi Press Agency reported.

During the call, the two leaders reviewed the latest developments in the region and discussed the ongoing military escalation.

President El-Sisi also expressed Egypt’s condemnation of what he described as repeated Iranian attacks against Saudi Arabia and affirmed Egypt’s solidarity with the Kingdom against any threats to its sovereignty and security.
