Saudi Crown Prince meets Egypt’s President El-Sisi at iftar in Jeddah

Jeddah, February 23, 2026 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud met Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi at an iftar table at Al-Salam Palace in Jeddah.
At the start of the meeting, the crown prince welcomed El-Sisi to what he described as his second country, Saudi Arabia. El-Sisi thanked the crown prince for the reception and hospitality extended to him and the accompanying delegation.
The two sides reviewed bilateral relations and ways to develop them across various fields. Regional issues were also discussed, including developments in the Middle East and files related to the security and stability of the region.
The meeting was attended by Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah; Minister of State, Cabinet Member and National Security Advisor Dr. Musaed Al-Aiban; Minister of State and Cabinet Member for Shura Council Affairs Dr. Issam bin Saad bin Saeed; General Intelligence Presidency President Khalid Al-Humaidan; and members of the Egyptian president’s delegation.
