Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Pakistan and Türkiye Condemn Houthi Attacks, Demand Immediate Halt

RIYADH, October 11 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) - Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Pakistan and Türkiye condemned continuing Houthi attacks on Saudi Arabia and demanded an immediate, unconditional halt in a joint statement on Sunday. The four countries said the attacks included strikes on King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh that killed and injured civilians and damaged civilian infrastructure and facilities.
The four countries described the attacks as a flagrant violation of international law and an assault on Saudi Arabia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity. They said the attacks directly threatened the country’s security, stability and civilian safety and represented a dangerous escalation that could not be justified or accepted under any pretext.
The four countries expressed full solidarity with Saudi Arabia and support for all legitimate measures it takes to counter the attacks, deter threats and prevent further strikes. They said those measures should protect Saudi Arabia’s security, sovereignty and territorial integrity, as well as its citizens and residents, in line with the United Nations Charter and international law.
The four countries held the Houthi militia fully responsible for the attacks and their consequences for regional and international peace and security, and called for the attacks to stop immediately and unconditionally.
